Please join us as we support Jessie on his healing journey as he faces bowel cancer with courage, faith, and the power of rongoā.
Invercargill, Southland
Jessie is a devoted husband, loving father, and proud Koko. For months, he suffered ongoing tummy pain, which we tried to ignore, until 2nd September, when blood in his stool made it impossible to wait any longer. Scans revealed a mass on his bowel and a colonoscopy confirmed the devastating news. On 5th September, Jessie was diagnosed with bowel cancer 😭
On 26th September, Jessie had surgery to remove the affected area. His recovery was painful and slow, but with courage, he turned to Rongoā Māori (traditional healing), gradually weaning off pain medication. Seeing Jessie eat, laugh, and regain strength has been a blessing for our whole whānau.
However, this battle is far from over, His recent results on 17th October showed cancer activity now in lymph nodes, making every step toward healing even more urgent! Jessie continues his journey with natural remedies like Soursop tea, apricot seeds & hopefully soon, Kangen water, though these are extremely costly! So we are turning to our Whanau, friends and our loving community for help! 🥹
Your koha (donation) will ease the financial burden on our whānau, allowing us to focus on what truly matters, Jessie’s recovery, hope, and healing. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to helping Jessie heal naturally with Kangen Water & rongoā māori & ultimately fight this disease, with our full support! Thank You will never be enough! ❤️
Ngā mihi nui mō tō aroha me tō tautoko.
With all our love and gratitude,
Tanz (Jessie’s wife) 🤍
