Unfortunately my beautiful loving caring wife passed away last week. Leaving behind myself and my 5 year old son and 7 year old daughter. Any help you could give would go a long way towards funeral costs, bills and living . And towards continuing education for my children. Thankyou to all those that have generously donated. It is a massive help.
I am so happy to say I have just today had my 18th and final (for now) Chemo session. We will still be seeing the oncologist and there will be more to come in the future, but we are really hoping for a great summer with our children to enjoy some quality family time. Sterryn :)
Well it is October and I have just started my last round of Chemo for now. In 2 more weeks I will officially be able to give my poor body a break from what feels like a full time occupation. Although it is a scary thought to come off Chemo and give the Cancer a chance to grow, I am very aware of how hard this has been on our whole family, and I am really starting to look forward to having the summer off! Thank you to everyone that has been supporting us. As you can see we are nearly at the goal that was estimated which is amazing. This Cancer business is turning out to be very expensive, and when you add up the costs of travel, lost wages and medicines it far out strips what we are able to cope with. So I ask you all very humbly, please don't forget about us, we still very much need your help and support if you can spare any. We literally wouldn't have survived without this fund over the past months and unfortunately without it continuing we are going to be in big trouble! We really want to be able to give our children this summer while I am hopefully well enough to get out and about to do some of the things on our family bucket list, but this won't be possible without that little extra coming in. These are not expensive things, they are trips to local parks, zoo's and the like, but all our out of our reach without this extra help. So thank you again for all of your love and support for our family. You are all amazing, and I am so blessed by every one of you :) Sterryn
Hi Everyone, I just wanted to update and let everyone know how we are going. The past month or so has been an absolute rollercoaster. We are starting to see some normal happening again now thankfully - albeit a very different normal from previously. We are now coming into our 5th of 18 Chemotherapy treatments. It can be rough so days and I am so thankful for our family and friends that are doing so much for us each week to help out. From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank everyone for their love and support over the past months. We could not have gotten through without the help you lovely people have given.
