Financial help for fertility
Auckland
When I was younger, people would always ask what I wanted to be when I grew up. They would look at me strange when I would say I wanted to be a mum.
I met my partner, we set up home together and life was great. We both knew we wanted to start a family so started trying, this was 6 years ago.
At 29 years old, I thought by now my partner and I would have a family. Unfortunately, over the past few years I have suffered from 1 ectopic pregnancy and 6 miscarriages. This has been devastating to me. I have seen multiple specialists who have all advised that there is nothing they can do, as they are unable to find the root cause. Our only advice was “keep trying”, which has been very hard to accept. This journey to motherhood has been punishing both mentally and physically, but I am not giving up!!
In desperation, after speaking to colleague who had been through similar issues, I have started seeing Dr Vitalis Skiauteris who specialises in fertility acupuncture, this seems my only hope. This will be a long process, but to begin with he has suggested three sessions per week for at least the next two to three months. This will help form new blood vessels in my uterus, which will increase the blood flow, and hopefully help the little one “stick”.
I am desperately needing your help to cover some of these expenses. Dr Vitalis advises that I need three sessions a week, however at $75 per session, this is really going to put my partner and I under financial strain. It would be great if I could follow the recommendation of three sessions per week, and give myself the best possible chance of maintaining a pregnancy.
I see so many wonderful mothers out there, and I know that I will be an incredible mother too, but I really need your kind donation to help me have the chance to experience the love and fulfilment you get from having a child.
To pay for fertility acupuncture and extra funds will be donated to Ronald McDonald House.
