Funds for house fire victims
House fire destroys all personal possessions and we want to help them to move forward.
Hawke's Bay
On Tuesday 2 November two of our valued team members of the Higgins Whanau; Arai Ngawhare and Blair Winyard lost all of their possessions in a house fire and were sadly uninsured at the time. They were both extremely lucky to have a working smoke alarm in the house which gave them just enough time to get out safely. We have set up this Give a Little page in an effort to assist them financially with the significant cost to re-establish their lives again as a result.

Their first priorities are finding another place to live and replacing basic everyday essentials items. they will need to buy all of those things that we may take for granted – clothing, new bedding, small appliances, cutlery, crockery etc
