Azalea-Reign ** Our precious Angel tragically taken too soon **

On the 5th December 2023 our beautiful cousin Tuhiata returned to Kaitaia to bury her precious baby daughter Cartier who was sadly still born. This was an absolutely heartbreaking time for our whānau.

Tuhiata decided to remain in Kaitaia for a month after burying Cartier where she would have whānau support. Support is all we could offer to help her navigate her way through the pain of losing a child.

On 4th January 2024 the unthinkable happened. Tuhiata's only remaining child, her beautiful 20mth old baby girl Azalea-Reign was accidentally run over and passed away early hours Friday 5th January of a brain bleed after being flown to Star Ship Hospital in Auckland.

Azalea-Reign was such a blessing, a true gift from god.

A beautiful ray of sunshine who had such an incredible soul.

We are simply without words to express the tremendous loss we feel.

To lose one child is unimaginable however our beautiful, kind hearted cousin has loss both her children within 4 weeks of each other. Our whānau is broken and our hearts are heavy.

Words can't describe how unfair this is.

This fundraiser has been to support Tuhiata during this heart wrenching time. The funds helping to cover Azalea-Reigns tangi & ongoing bills allowing our cousin to grieve for her babies.
