They dit it! On a wet and cold Wanaka day Sarah, Aimee and their crew have completed the 8km walk!

CHARGE Syndrome can have a real impact on the vestibular system which is reponsible for maintaining balance and spatial orientation. So for someone with CHARGE Syndrome an 8km walk is a real achievement. Super proud of these guys and how they are repping and raising awareness for our CHARGE community.

Thank you to everyone who has donated in support of Sarah and Aimee.

Watch this space to see what's next in our efforts to get our families conncected at the hui next year.

Wow we are blown away by the support that has been coming in! We have hit the $5,000 mark which is amazing. Thank you!

It's CHARGE awareness day tomorrow and Sarah and Aimee and their crew will be doing the 8km walk in beautiful Wanaka.

Every bit that is donated is going to make such a big difference for the families coming to the Hui next March. Families will have an opportunity to book time slots with the medical and behavioural professionals coming from the United States, so they can ask specific and targeted questions about how CHARGE syndrome is impacting them. It's also such a valuable time to make connections with other families who are going through similar things as you.

Thanks again to all who have donated so far. And if you can share our link far and wide we would really appreciate it.

Here is Aimee, another member of our CHARGE community and she is training hard to join Sarah on the 8km walk on the 8th August.

This date is special because it's CHARGE Syndrome Awareness Day. The day aims to raise awareness of this complex syndrome and how variable it is for each individual.

We can't thank you enough for your generous support so far. Please help us spread the word even further by sharing our givealittle link in your social networks.

    Thank you!
