Hi there, we will be doing another feed on the 29th of June as a few donations have come in. Last year we supported a bunch of people with not just food, but with housing advice and support and even rehab on occasion. It was a great venture for 12 months. We Provided over 600 servings throughout the last 12 months. Helped a few homeless into housing and was there for an ear if needed over food every few weeks. People that have come out of jail, homeless, some others that were a bit lost in this world and just wanted a feed and a yarn or wanted to feel a bit of a community spirit. 🥳✌️❤️🤝

Thank you to all that have donated over the last 11 months as I draw this year to a close and finish this awesome charity service in 3 more feeds. Finish it off with a giant XMAS feed on 23rd December for the shelters and homeless in the city.

Thank you to all.thathave donated. I'll be doing this all through to XMAS Ending it with a giant KFC feed. Odyssey House rehab centre turned up this week and helped with the food costs. They had to shoot away unfortunately.
We had a lot of great conversations with people living in tents at the moment and everything we do on this page is a contribution to help , even if it's just a day to chill. Talk. Converse and try and get a few people help if they need it also. If it's an introduction to rehab for the first time or just advice on getting into housing , if someone wants to know how to do that.

We fed over 25 people from shelters, city mission and homeless and they thanked all of you for contributing and donating tomthe feeds. It's been great giving these people are a bit of a community welcoming vibe with food and conversation. That many are missing in their lives.
We've now fed over 500 people since January. Next week we might just continue with more pizzas. There's a meditteranian restaurant that wants to do one of the feeds perhaps in November.

So since January we've served over 500 people. Homeless/City Mission, shelters every other Thursday and this feed and conversation week at 11:30am-12:30pm will be Dominoes Pizza. :)

Over 30 people that needed to relax. Talk. Going through addictions and issues, mental health , recovery , need housing or from social housing or temporary shelters.
We've SERVED OVER 500 Servings with conversation since January that I'm pretty happy with.
People from all types of situations. Something for them to look forward to have chilled conversation and eat that appreciate some community and normality that don't get a lot of that type of stuff in their lives, that's what it's all for.
I will be continuing at least till December 23rd with a KFC Christmas feed.

Thanks to the Uber driver i got a ride from last night, im not sure he wants me to mention his name, that donated to the 35 free burgers and chips and a drink Local Charity homeless feed today , epic, because its wet might have to do the feed at city mission possibly. But ill go down and see if anyone is down at latimer square and feed whoever is there, then head to city mission if its raining. If people keep donating ill just keep doing it, for however long i can, i wasnt expecting to be doing it even this long 🙂

Defeating your demons of addiction, hatreds, misery, depressions with your inner angel of reason, common sense and empathy, lov eand kindness. When you acknowledge we have inner demons to defeat adn then combine that with your good side, you can improve as a human being. The demon/Angel thing is a Yin/Yang kind of concept.
The target was to do a full 12 months of free charity work, using just my resources and donations and we are 8 months in. The end date currently is the last week of december and maybe do 1 last giant 60 piece KFC FREE CHRISTMAS FEED for the homeless charity feed To end the year out. Thx all that have donated so far. But its not over quite yet.
We have a giant 35 burger and chips and drinks feed coming up next week on the 18th August, maybe Tracys grub on hubs for the 25th August, might just be fish and chips as Tracy is busy and has had some illness :)
Next feeds and conversation are 18th August and 25th August. Thinking of doing cheesburgers and chips for the next feed and Tracy's grub on hubs food truck caterer will hopefully do the feed on August 25 and last week of September possibly, but shes ill currently. In September / October looking at Boteco's souvlaki's to do a couple of the feeds maybe September , October possibly pizzas and November /. December maybe Subway catering and the last feeds on Feb 23rd maybe KFC to finish the 12 months off of an ENTIRE year of voluntary charity work with your support :)
The reason i like changing it up, it just keeps it fun all and gives these guys something to lok forward to so they attend and enjoy themselves and can see a little hope in life.

A couple people have asked if im a registered Charity, not yet. A lawyer is in waiting to get that part of it done however. If i choose to go ahead with that.
The Demon/Angel charity name is what i might call the non profit charity feeds in the future if i continue to do it and become registered after February 23rd 2023 as a non profit organisation.
I want to just do the voluntary work for a whole year now and just see how it goes first, if people enjoy it, if the streeties enjoy what im doing, if what im doign is even helping anyone at all or contributing in a positive way, before making a serious decision like doing it under a real trust name.
I want to see if i can do this for a whole year without any help from ANY funding groups. ive raised over $2200 _ my own financial contributions and $1800 have gone on the feeds so far a couple times a month over 6 months.
But ive kind of enjoyed the freedom to do it and raise money without any attachments to anything or anyone and just turn up and do the feeds on a couple Thursdays each month.
Right now im doing all this charity work as an individual not as a registered trust or registered charity and with any helpers that voluntarily help on those days. ✌️❤️🤝

The food truck caterer Tracy's Grub on Hubs feed might be called off this week on Thursday due to serious flooding and illness, however I still might do a fish and chip run to city mission the female and male dorms.
In the future im looking into future KFC feeds to possibly sponsor some of the feeds. Dominoes. Subway catering and Boteco's restuarant might be doing a feed in the future. with 25-30 souvlakis. The KFC charity feed for the homeless today and dropped the rest off to 10 people at city mission. SO fed 15 people at the park and another 10 at city mission. Oh my gosh Nyran it was wet and cold today so thanks for getting the KFC and sharing it. I'm sure there were some people pleased to see you with that food!!
Yeah they were pretty happy. Which was great. I'm going to try and get some of the outlets to sponsor future feeds. Like subsidize them. They gave me $40 off this feed which was great. So instead of costing $230 it cost $190.
I only take photos of people that want to have photos in most cases.

The odyssey House rehab centre will be offering $10 free food vouchers and contribute to the feed tomorrow :) ✌️❤️🤝
Next week Odyssey house (rehab centre) will be joining us for the homeless charity feed. Because we primarily focus on most needed , homeless or practically homeless or on the brink. We generally have been feeding around 15-30 every feed. so all up probably fed over 360 people so far in 6 months. At the moment 50 people are homeless estimated in Christchurch.
The next feed Im dedicating to someone who has just died at Maruia Falls swimming. Near Nelson. Mikhail Buchanan. I meet Mikhail and he was kind person and an awesome rapper, body builder for a time. Today's Homeless feed had 40+ people come and enjoy a communal , welcoming atmosphere with food and chilled conversation. To help ease some of the mental burden many experience that feel like no one cares out there.
One woman told us today was just what she needed , food and a conversation as she is attending AA and overcoming her addictions and needed people to talk to. Suffers from depression. Anxiety. Addiction. A feed and a talk can do wonders.
Another man just got out of jail and thanked everyone that contributed to the feeds and wishes all of you and I well and hopes for more feeds in the future.

Fed around 18 people today.
Gwen Hindmarsh came down with a box of veges, bread for anyone who needs it.
Met a guy that has been In jail since early 1980's. Completely lost outside in the real world. Wants to go back to jail. Sees no purpose out here. Has a tattoo of freedom and feels he is less free outside than inside jail. Conditioned. He's angry unfortunately and lost. Tried to get a job. Couldn't get one. So is wandering around the place trying to fill the void of existance aimlessly. A lot has changed since the 1980's. Must be a mind f*#k. Seen every violent act inside you can think of.
Hopefully he finds peace on the outside and a way to enjoy whatever is left of his journey in life and more importantly finds contentment and peace. Hopefully he writes a book about being inside for 35+ years.
Next week Thursday. Tracy's Grub on hubs will be at Latimer Square. 11:30am-12:30pm.

Tomorrow will be fish and chips and drinks etc and some takeaway food from people dropping off spare food. Next week 30th June will be Tracy Grubs on Hubs with burgers,, chips in a food catering truck bringing clothes and blankets, 11:30am -12:30pm.
I have a few future plans with KFC, Mcdonalds, Possibly Indian and other fastfood outlets that i might be able to incorporate them innto perhaps maybe they can subsidize a few of the feeds too with the donations.
Its amazing that i started this in January and was only going to do a couple feeds in February and here we are in June 22nd 5 months, almost 6 months later still doing it, almost every week.
So thanks everyone for the donations and keeping this going and ill continue to do it as support comes in. The homeless look forward to the free feeds, the social community aspect of it. The conversations, getting out of thier bubbles doing normal inclusive community stuff for an hour or so. Not sure where all this will lead. But im not too worried about that. Ill just truck on, see where it goes an di hope peopel get some positive vibes and benefits out of it :)

Today's homeless feed at Latimer Square.
One homeless guy told us of a horrific story that the people he was staying with took advantage of him til he was forced to rush to emergency housing.
I sat and spoke to Another man suffering from diabetes that is currently at a homeless shelter waiting on a hnz place and suffered from anger problems. See we discussed getting his aggression out with a boxing bag and walking.
Fed over 25 people today. It was great.

Met M.A.S.H Trust representatives today Karleen Edwards and Christina Karaitiana.
They flew down from Palmeston North to discuss what I've been doing and to talk mental health and a range of issues I've come across doing recent charity work voluntarily for the homeless. My ideas and concerns with what I've come across.
They managed to meet up with some of the streeties at the feed today. Fed 15 people at Latimer and M.A.S.H got to hear some enlightening informative stories from a few of the homeless and their lives.on the street and mental health struggles they go through.
1 person we spoke to that had been in and out of jail 40 times and wants to improve , see their daughter and create a new life.
Another homeless that has a pet mouse told us of the places he sleeps and problems he faces in the world of drugs, chaos, alcohol and how he sees the world and why he sees it that way.
Another homeless person with pretty epic diction rapped a song about his daily grind and daily life and struggle with the world around him and upbringing and addiction.
So next week Housing NZ representatives will be coming to the homeless feeds to check out what me and sometimes with food trucks/caterers that are keen to contribute are doing a few times a month.
Giving people that are a bit lost something to look forward to a few times a month that isn't about drugs and alcohol. Positive energy and a motivating spirit can create a community 🌊 that's more than just a feed.
Through conversation. Care. Non judgement. Inclusive behaviour , positive energy , a bit of motivation, who knows where simple dialogue at a park with food can take us.
