Saying thank you to Annemieke and her Volunteers for all their years of service and care to our birds
Kūaotunu, Waikato
Annemieke and her volunteers have dedicated 15 years of personal time and care to saving and caring for native and injured bird species. The original home back yard bird retreat soon grew to become a large facility with all equipment to support the needs of our injured birds (or sometimes just drunk Kereru) Annemieke, her family and friends have often put their personal lives on hold to support the running of this 7 day a week bird hospital. People of the Kuaotunu Community and communities from around the Coromandel Penninsular are very grateful for this service and wish to raise funds to support Annemieke's recent decision to disestablish, this facility at her home, so she can spend some quality time with her friends, family and community.

Use of funds
Funds go toward a special commemorative landmark supporting the rest and relaxation of Annemieke and the volunteers. It will also support a big clean up of the Kregtings home, gardens & financial support to disestablish the bird hospital as required.
