The Save Our Springs community has come together to protect the sacred waters of Te Waikoropupū Springs and stop the mining at Sam's Creek.
Takaka, Tasman
Siren Gold, an Australian exploration company, has restarted drilling at Sam's Creek in the Cobb Valley of Golden Bay, New Zealand. A mine at Sam's Creek would devastate this pristine Creek, the valley surrounding the mine and potentially poison the aquafer that we all rely on for our drinkig water. It’s also likely to ravage the international treasure that is Te Waikoropupū Springs. This is heating up rapidly as helicopters and drillers invade this special and sacred place. SOS plans to stop Siren Gold by preventing them getting a miner's license. Your donations will go towards legal fees, admin costs and promotion to spread the word about our campaign.
