I will be walking the 10Km Rotorua Walking Festival with my 9 year old son and our 22 month old to raise awareness for Hydrocephalus NZ.
Gisborne
Our baby girl, Nina, was born at 24 weeks and since then she has had a rough time with 5 surgeries, 3 of them was brain surgery associated to her Hydrocephalus, also known as Water on the Brain.
We're now working on awareness of the condition and producing content for the Hydrocephalus New Zealand charity including video content and our website.
On 16 March Kaio, our 9 year old son and I will be taking part in the 10Km Rotorua Walking Festival with Nina to support Hydrocephalus New Zealand, who due to being only 22 months old, will be in on my back!
I am a co-founder of the organisation that is a registered charity as well as an officer of the charity.
The money will be used to enter the Rotorua Walking Festival, re-develop our website and start adding information about Hydrocephalus and producing awareness content.
