I am her legs, she is my inspiration

Born with Cerebral Palsy, I have lived a lot of my life on the sidelines in my wheelchair. Don’t get me wrong I love my life and wouldn’t change anything so this is not your usual story of asking for money to live a better life, this is a story to show you anything is possible and a little help goes a long way.

The title of this story is from my dad’s point of view, who is also my running buddy. In 2024 we ran our first ever marathon together. He pushes me and I hype him up the whole way. From our first Christchurch marathon we had our hearts set on the New York marathon.

This year, with help from Achilles International we have been accepted as the first ever duo to run the New York Marathon. I am very fortunate to have a lot of my costs covered but I still have other expenses to pay for.

Every bit helps so nothing is too small.
