Support Team 🇳🇿 New Zealand 🇳🇿 Invictus Games 2025 in Vancouver and Whistler Canada 🇨🇦
Kia Ora Whānau 🫡 my name is Lanz and I am a member of the team representing NZ at the 2025 Invictus Games in Canada 🇨🇦
The Invictus Games changes lives through sport and is the only international adaptive sporting event for wounded, injured or ill current and former service personnel. Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, is Patron of the Invictus Games Foundation and founder of the Invictus Games
It’s challenging to explain how valuable recovery through sport is to recovering from injury, wounds or illness is for those who have served their country. We have lost more than just the visible wounds seen on Anzac Day. We live and struggle with these wounds, injuries and illnesses every single day. We are proud to have served and for some of us, to still be serving today.
Our injuries, wounds and illnesses affect not only us, but our friends and whānau as they support us. Their support is integral to our recovery efforts and the Invictus Games is not only another way they can support us, but is a chance for us to thank them for the sacrifice they make in support of our recovery.
IG25 in Vancouver and Whistler is the first hybrid winter/summer games. I’ll be competing in snowboarding 🏂 , indoor rowing 🚣🏿 , wheelchair basketball 🏀 and sitting volleyball 🏐 .
Team NZ would greatly appreciate your support 🫡❤️
Peace, not war, shall be our boast,
But, should foes assail our coast,
Make us then a mighty host,
God defend our free land.
Funds will all go to the Invictus Games fund for team NZ. Should we get more funds than required for 2025 funds will go to the next campaign and remain with the future team 🫡🇳🇿
