A Little Help for a Little Family ❤️

I'm setting up this Givealittle page for my wonderful friend Bex, her partner Jay and their little one, Charlie, after an incredibly difficult year.

It started when Bex was 11 weeks pregnant and unexpectedly needed emergency surgery. What everyone hoped was a one-off complication turned into a much longer journey.

Already facing a difficult pregnancy with hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), things worsened six weeks after Charlie arrived. Bex needed emergency surgery again, followed by another two weeks later and another three weeks after that.

Since her first surgery, Bex has undergone four more surgeries and ongoing treatment.

She's now dealing with an internal abscess that needs to drain and heal from the inside out. It's a slow, complicated process, with further treatment ahead.

Throughout everything, Bex and Jay have done their best to manage while caring for Charlie. But the financial pressure continues to grow.

Insurance only covers part of each surgery, and time away from work for recovery and caregiving has added to the strain.

That's why I've created this page.
