On Sunday 2 August, our darling Anna passed away at 30 years young after 18 months receiving treatment for cancer.
During Anna's treatment, Helen devoted herself and her time to being there for her daughter, let's help Anna give some time back to her mum.
Many of us have been at the receiving end of the Wharehoka family's warm and welcoming hospitality over the years. Now it is our turn to awhi them.
We are seeking donations from friends and whanau of the Wharehoka family to ease any pressure there might be for Helen to return to work, so that she can take as much time as she needs to process Anna's passing.
With the permission of Anna's twin brother Sam, I've been asked to set this page up to recognise Helen's selflessness through Anna's time of need and to give her time to breathe as she processes this new chapter of her life.
