In loving memory of Daniel Clough, beloved husband, father, son, brother, esteemed colleague and dear friend.
Wellington
It is with great sadness and disbelief to share that Daniel Carl Clough passed away on 3rd February 2024. This page has been set up on behalf of Daniel's family for those who would like to contribute to the support of his loved ones.
Daniel was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, esteemed colleague and dear friend. One could easily connect with his warmth and friendly nature. He was that relatable down to earth person who was guaranteed to make you smile and laugh. His professional achievements involved making a bold career change from the IRD to becoming a Fellow of the New Zealand Society of Actuaries, for which he admirably balanced full time work, family and study to ultimately pass all of his exams and set himself up for a successful career as an actuary. Not only just a numbers person, he was a sports enthusiast with a particular love for cricket and rugby. Yet it was his immense love and pride for his family which truly defined him as a person.
Everything Daniel pursued was for his family and his devotion to both his personal and professional life was truly commendable.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife Maribel, and two daughters Sophie and Izabelle. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
