Fundraiser to support Shaurya Sriram’s grieving parents with funeral expenses after his tragic passing.

It is with deep sorrow that we share the tragic passing of Shaurya Sriram, a 21-year-old engineering student, whose life was cut short during a holiday at Lake Taupō.

Shaurya was a bright, kind-hearted young man and the only child of his parents. Their world has been devastated by this unimaginable loss - no family should have to endure such heartbreak.

In this difficult time, we are coming together as a community to support Shaurya’s parents. This fundraiser aims to help ease the financial burden of funeral arrangements, allowing the family to focus on mourning and healing.

All funds raised will be paid directly to Anns Funeral Services Ltd, ensuring full transparency and that contributions go solely towards funeral expenses.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference and is deeply appreciated.

Funds raised will respectfully support Shaurya’s funeral expenses and the repatriation of his body to his parents, helping ease the financial burden during this deeply difficult time..
