We are asking for support to help cover the costs of John Jones' tangi and ease the burden as his whānau navigate this challenging time.

Gisborne

On the 12th of October, we lost our beloved Te Ohomauri John Jones. A devoted father to Isla and a loving husband to Kayla, John was a young man of great spirit and kindness. As we come together to mourn his passing and celebrate the beauty of his life, we are reaching out for support to help cover the costs of his tangi and to assist his whānau during this incredibly difficult time.

John had only recently moved to Australia in pursuit of a better future for himself and his whānau. Unfortunately, the expenses involved in bringing his remaining family from Aotearoa to Australia, along with other related costs, have added to the challenges his loved ones face.

Any contribution, no matter the size, would be deeply appreciated and would go a long way toward easing his family's financial burden.

Use of funds

The funds will cover John's tangi, including funeral arrangements and travel for his whānau based elsewhere. Any additional funds would help alleviate ongoing costs his whānau faces as they adjust to life without him.
