Auckland
The O’Sullivan family will be collecting donations for three charitable causes in lieu of flowers to remember Alison.
Our Mum was very community-minded, and we have decided on the three charities we would like funds to go towards. These are:
1) World Animal Protection: https://www.worldanimalprotection.org.nz/
2) Women's Refuge: https://womensrefuge.org.nz/
3) St. John: https://www.stjohn.org.nz/
Thank you for your generosity and support.
We will be holding a memorial for Alison at Under the Dome at Auckland War Memorial Museum on Saturday 24 July, 11am. All who knew her and would like to join with close friends and family are welcome.
If you would like to, please wear some turquoise to brighten Alison's memorial with her favourite colour.
Note that parking around the Museum and Domain is limited due to school holidays.
If you have any questions about the event or donations, please call daughter-in-law, Tamsin - 021635532.
Many thanks,
Su, Mike, John and Matt
Alison's son Mike and his wife Lauren will be receiving funds into a dedicated bank account on Alison's behalf, to be donated to three charities.
Donations will be evenly split between:
1) World Animal Protection: https://www.worldanimalprotection.org.nz/
2) Women's Refuge: https://womensrefuge.org.nz/
3) St. John: https://www.stjohn.org.nz/
Donations on Alison's Birthday 20 September 2021
Kia ora koutou,
Thank you so much for your kind donations in Alison's memory. We received just over $2500, and have distributed your gifts evenly between World Animal Protection, St. John New Zealand, and Women's Refuge. Today seemed like a good day to make this update, as it is Alison's birthday. She would have been 82 today, and we think she would have enjoyed seeing the first monarch butterfly of Spring appear in our garden this morning. Good timing, butterfly!
Noho ora mai,
Mike and Lauren on behalf of the O'Sullivan Whānau
