In Loving Memory of Hayden Blackburn

As a lot of you may be aware, tragically on Sunday the 10th October 2021, Hayden Blackburn was suddenly killed in an accident in Makarora. This news came as a complete shock to his family and friends, and the fact he was just shy of 34 years old, is utterly devastating. Truly a life taken too soon.

Hayden was a committed father, a wonderful son, a fun-loving brother, a loyal friend and a devoted partner to his soulmate Charlene. The void he has left in his family, and his communities (both Makarora and Taumarunui) is huge. Whilst we cannot take away the pain of this tragic event, or the loss to his immediate family, we thought we would provide an opportunity for people to contribute financially, and know they are helping in some way.

Hayden was a hardworking, dedicated family man and he would love nothing more than for his family, his girls, to be well taken care of. Therefore, this page has been set up as financial support for his two beautiful daughters Lily (8) and Briar (5) for anything they will need in the future.
