Remembering Sherry – A Friend to Many, A Family Man Forever
On the 24th of April 2025, we tragically lost Michael Sherry, or better known as “Sherry” in a workplace accident.
Sherry was a proud husband to Whitney and a loving father to Zara and Andie. Originally from Mackay, Queensland, Sherry built a beautiful life with his family in Dunedin, New Zealand.
A true lover of music and a friend to all who met him, Sherry’s warmth, laughter, and kindness touched countless lives. His sudden passing leaves an enormous hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
This page has been set up to support Whitney, Zara, and Andie through this heartbreaking time — helping with immediate costs and ensuring they have the support they need moving forward.
If you knew Sherry, you knew how much he gave to others. Now is our chance to give back in his memory. Any donation, big or small, is deeply appreciated.
Thank you for showing your love for Sherry and his beautiful family.
All funds raised will be donated directly to his wife Whitney, and daughters Zara, and Andie.
Sherry’s greatest wish was to give his girls the world — to see them dream big, live fully, and know they were endlessly loved.
While he is no longer here to hold their hands through life’s journey, we hope, through this support, we can help carry forward his dreams for them.
Thank you for honouring Sherry’s memory by standing beside Whitney, Zara, and Andie.
ACC will provide some financial support to the family.
Sherry and my husband Adrian shared almost 20 years of friendship. Adrian and I were lucky to call Whitney and Sherry not just friends, but family.
All funds raised will be donated directly to Sherry’s beloved Wife Whitney and his daughters, Zara and Andie.
Sherry’s greatest wish was to give his girls the world — to see them dream big, live fully, and know they were endlessly loved.
