In memory of Mum — helping us lay her to rest
Our beloved Mum passed away suddenly on Monday 18th August at 1:40pm at Wairarapa Hospital, with Catherine and myself by her side. Her passing was unexpected, but we are grateful she did not have to suffer for long. Just that morning she was smiling and looking forward to eating and drinking again — even asking for fizzy drink, Kiwifruit , Mandarins and Mackintosh lollies as her first “munch.”
Mum was a woman of faith, love, and resilience. She shared with us the words of Psalm 91, which speak of God’s protection and comfort. Those words guide us now as we prepare to farewell her.
We are doing our best to give Mum the dignity and farewell she deserves. The suddenness of her passing has left us with unexpected expenses, and any contribution through this page would help us greatly toward the costs of her funeral and final service.
