Dad, Peter Davie co founded Prithipura Communities with 2 friends in the 1960's in Sri Lanka. Prithipura means "Happy Place" it is a forever home for children with disabilities who have been either abandoned by their families or whos families are unable to care them full time. With over 250 children and adults to care for, Prithipura is struggling at the moment financially due to reduced donations as a knock on effect of Covid. Instead of flowers at dads funeral we are asking for donations that will go to Prithipura.
