Help Indi-lee Ruddell to compete at the 2026 ISA World Surfing Games, Peru

Hi, I’m Indi-lee Ruddell. I’m 16 yrs old and I've been selected for the New Zealand Open Surfing Team to compete against the best surfers from across the world at the ISA World Surfing Games. I will be travelling to Peru on the 1st of November 2026. Peru is many miles away but has a similar climate to NZ and open to the same swells that roll up our West Coast.

I have been training hard down in Raglan with Johnny and the awesome team at The Refinery Dojo and grinding daily at the Raglan Surf Academy with Larry and Dean through the school terms.

My Dad is always helping with coaching and filming my waves and has volunteered as the Team Manager.

This is my first time representing NZ in the Open Division which is a big step up from the Juniors. I’m excited for the challenge and proud to represent my Māori and Kiwi heritage on the World Stage.
