  • Update – Vet Check-In and a Sweet Reunion 💛

      27 August 2025

Inky had her vet visit today for a check-up and blood tests. The vet is happy with how she’s doing overall — now we’re just waiting on her blood test results to come back to confirm everything is progressing well.

Thank you all so much for your continued support. Your kindness has made it possible for us to get Inky the care she needs, and we’re truly grateful.

We also have a little bonus update: I’m now fostering Inky’s mum, Twinky — and it’s been so special to see them reunited. A real full-circle moment. 🐾

If you’d like to keep receiving updates about Inky after this page closes, please feel free to reach out — I’d love to stay connected and keep you in the loop.

    With love and thanks,

    Michelle 💛

  • Urgent Help Needed – Inky’s Next Vet Visit & Medication 💛

      20 August 2025

We’re reaching out with an urgent update. Inky is due for her 6-week check-up and blood tests next Wednesday, and we also need to pay the remaining balance on her medication for the final 7 weeks of her treatment.

To keep everything on track, we urgently need to raise $600 by next week.

She’s been responding really well so far, and we’re so hopeful — but this next phase is critical. If you’re able to donate, share, or spread the word, we would be incredibly grateful.

Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any questions or would like to support in other ways.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you again for helping give this beautiful little soul the fighting chance she deserves. 🐾💛

  • Update – Inky’s Growing, and So Are Her Vet Needs 🐾

      28 July 2025
    Main image

Inky continues to do really well — she’s now gained 500 grams since coming into foster care! She’s playful, affectionate, and getting stronger every day. Her little cough is still hanging around, but it has improved, and she’s clearly feeling better overall.

We have another vet appointment this Wednesday, and in 3–4 weeks she’ll undergo blood tests and a thorough check-up to make sure the treatment is working as expected. After that, she’ll continue with 6 more weeks of meds, followed by a final round of bloods and vet checks at the end of her 12-week treatment plan.

Depending on how much more she grows, we may need to adjust her medication doses along the way — which could mean additional vet visits.

We’re so encouraged by her progress, but we still need your help. These next stages of treatment are critical, and the ongoing costs are adding up.

🙏 Please, if you’re able, consider donating or sharing this page with others who might be willing to help. Every bit of support makes a difference — and we are so deeply grateful. Thank you! 💛

  • Update – A Positive Vet Visit for Inky 💛

      23 July 2025

Inky had her vet visit today and we’re so encouraged by the progress she’s making! She’s put on 140 grams in the past week, which is a great sign that her little body is responding well to treatment.

While her chest is still a bit noisy and not completely clear, the vet reassured us that this is to be expected at this stage. The best news — no temperature today, and the vet is very happy with how she’s doing so far.

Her next 3 weeks of treatment are now ready for collection, which comes to $240 (already included in the total we’re fundraising here).

Thank you again to everyone who has donated, prayed, or shared — your support means more than words can say. Please keep sharing this page so we can continue getting Inky the care she needs to fully recover. 🐾💛

  • Update – Inky Has Started Treatment 💛

      17 July 2025

Today we took Inky to ARC, where she was referred to a specialist for FIP treatment. She has fluid in her belly and some in her lungs, but the vet is hopeful — we’ve been given a great prognosis and strong survival expectations if treatment continues.

Inky received her first intravenous antiviral injection today and will have her second tomorrow. She’s also been given two weeks’ worth of oral antivirals, which is an incredible start to her 12-week treatment plan.

We’ll need to take her back in a couple of weeks for the next round of medication, and we’ll continue to update you all as she progresses.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated or shared so far — your support is giving Inky a real chance at life. We’re beyond grateful. 🐾💛

  • Update – Inky has FIP 💔

      16 July 2025
    Main image

We’ve just returned from the vet with devastating news — Inky has been diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a serious form of feline coronavirus. Without immediate treatment, she won’t survive.

She’s been such a little fighter through everything so far, and we’re not giving up on her now.

Today’s vet bill came to $1,373, and we’ve been quoted around $2,000 for the 12-week course of life-saving treatment she urgently needs.

We’re incredibly grateful for the kindness, support, and donations received so far — every single dollar is making a difference. Truly.

We have an appointment with ARC tomorrow morning and will share another update once we have more information.

Thank you for standing with us and with little Inky. 💛🐾
