Mary Berrington went missing from Upper Hutt on July 20th 2016. Despite an intense search and police investigation she has not been found. As a result, her family are organising a Memorial Park bench for her family and friends and the Upper Hutt community to have a place to grieve and reflect.

As the daughter of Mary, I am preparing for the 1 year anniversary of mums disappearance, as we have no closure or a resting place to grieve, I thought it would be a nice idea to have a Memorial Park Bench at Harcourt Park Upper Hutt, for our family and friends to have a place to grieve and reflect, as well to raise funds to donate to the organisations who have supported us over the past year and continue to do so.

Use of funds

Funds will be used to purchase a Memorial Park Bench and plaque, and fundraise for the local organisations who have supported Mary's family and Friends since her disappearance.
