Innocence's journey with Ewings Sarcoma Cancer

Our beautiful princess Innocence aged 14 has been diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma Cancer on New Years Eve 2020 following a biopsy on a growth removed on 11th Jan 2021.

Inno is a student at Te Wharekura O Mauao, past student of Te Kura o Matapihi. The light of our world, sister, moko, niece & cuzzy "Our baby" it breaks our hearts to see her go through all these treatments at such a young age, she should be enjoying the holidays, hanging with her friends and whanau or just being a teen.

We are needing assistance with the extra costs traveling to and from Tauranga to Starship and being away from our 3 other children whilst being with our baby over the next 9 months of treatment. Mummy and Daddy need to be with during these times, we have amazing whanau helping with the care of our babies while we are away.

She is currently on her 2nd round of treatment so we are home for approx 1-2 weeks then back and froth for 3 day and 5 day treatments.

Throughout our lives we have always supported others through times of need, its a very strange and unfamiliar feeling to be on the other end during this "unreal" experience. We are taking this day by day on this journey with our Innocence, we hope whanau can support in any which way big or small your kindness, aroha and support is great appreciated.
