Following the successful implementation of pilot programmes delivered between 2015 and 2017, InOvation Trust aims to build on and further develop their unique models and approaches to youth development through the delivery of the following projects;
1. The UnSPOKEN WORD Polynesian Youth Forum. Working with 100 young people throughout NZ over 3 days to explore key messaging around the prevention of youth suicide in Aotearoa. The outcome will be a compilation of original spoken word pieces that will be professionally recorded and made available in workshop form throughout NZ schools and youth spaces.
2. The Moving Mount Project. Free drama, music and dance workshops for young people that are based on the principles of youth development that foster skill and culture development as a tool to build confidence and resilience in young people. performing arts workshops will be delivered by young people who will be taught the fundamental of business as a method of sustaining future opportunities to deliver classes and workshops as a source of income.
3. The Baby Mama Club. Targeted at young mums who are wanting to get active. Mums will meet weekly participating in indoor netball leagues, parenting workshops and connecting with experienced mothers in their community.
4. The Smoke and Mirrors Production 2017. This production follows on form the 2015 and 2016 productions that have reached multitudes.
