Invercargill family of former refugees lose all in house fire

An Invercargill family of former refugees are starting again following a total house fire that has all but completely destroyed their residence and belongings. To help them get back on their feet, this give-a-little page is being set up to give the household the financial means to meet their basic necessities and start to recuperate from their tragic unforeseen loss. The Buitron household is Elkin (dad), Luisa (mom), Maria-Jose (17 years old), Mariana, and Miguel (7 & 11 years old). They arrived a few years ago from South America after escaping the conflict in Colombia and have made Invercargill their home. Their resilience has gotten them through a lot, but the help of others has been also been crucial in seeing them through worse. At this time, the Buitron family needs your support to help in their recovery from this tragic turn of events.

Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated and will to towards the care of their young children, as well as to help the family meet their basic needs and replenish essential materials (including but not limited to sundries such as clothes, school uniforms, hygiene products, linen, general household goods, etc.)
