Invisible Injuries Institute Raising Funds to create awareness for people living with injuries
Nationwide
In New Zealand 1 in 4 people live with disability.
There are 200,000 people injured each year.
There are no statistics for people living with permanent Injuries in New Zealand, however many people suffer daily from permanent injuries including the founder of Invisible Injuries Institute.
Please help us create awareness for those living with Injuries that are not immediately visible to those around them. They look normal but have physical injuries that may be permanent and are stopping them from reaching their full potential.
These are people who were the bread winners of the family, independent and worked full-time but because of their injuries they are now unable to work in their old jobs or unable to work full time, they can no longer provide for their children because of their injuries.
They are also extremely disadvantaged because they can no longer do the jobs they are qualified to do meaning they are earning minimum wage or are earning nothing due to household income thresholds
Because of the rising cost of living
Invisible Injuries Institute wants to raise awareness for people living with Injuries and also help them to become financially independant by mentoring and connecting business opportunities for them.
Please donate generously so we can raise awareness for people living with invisible injuries who are impacted every minute of every day by their injuries and help make life a little easier become more understood and create meaningful relationships and employment
