iPad for Micah!

    We are now in Auckland and start at Wilson Home tomorrow. It looks like 2-3 weeks of rehab ahead of us. Micah is doing really well and is in great spirits. Today we bought his iPad and he has enjoyed sometime with it already! We decided to get an iPad Air and also get a rugged case to keep it safe. He was very excited when I told him! I think it will be a nice addition to our time at rehab. Thanks again. I was wondering if you could send me your postal address (facebook message me) so we can send you a thank you card.

  • Off to Auckland

    Hello generous people. Micah and Angie are currently in Auckland at Starship before Micah will move onto Wilson Home for rehabilitation (his left side is not functioning as well as his right). He may be there for a few weeks. Josiah and I will fly up on Friday and stay with family. Thankfully, all our flights have been covered except for Josiah's. So some of this money will be used to cover that expense. Thank you for helping our family be together at this time. His recovery will take much longer than I expected, so iPad will be delayed until he is ready for it. Thanks again, he is in good spirits

  • Goal Reached!

    We have reached the goal! Thank you so much for your generosity. Not only have we reached the goal, but I also have been offered an iPad. So I'm working on a plan as to how to use the money you have donated. Some will go towards updating iPad with a case, games, books, movies etc. The rest will go towards other causes to aid recovery, maybe other games or equipment he may need. We are working with staff at hospital to figure out what may be best. I will keep you updated Micah is recovering well. He will be in hospital till at least Monday. The left side of his body is not functioning as well as his right and he may have to go to Auckland for rehabilitation. If this is the case some money will be used towards that trip and related expenses. He is recovering well and your generosity will go a long way to aid that recovering. Thanks again Micah's dad
