Helping Melissa & her family during Isla’s fight with Cancer

Canterbury

You’re on this page because you are aware of the battle Melissa and her family are currently going through.

Isla Rose is only 3 years old and although she is sprite and happy, she has just been diagnosed with a Wilm Tumour, a rare form of Kidney Cancer.

This is seeing her in Christchurch hospital for a minimum of 6 weeks!

You will know that earlier this year, Mel and Hayden brought their first home together in Timaru; however for the next six weeks, Christchurch Hospital will be home. Obviously life does not stop, even for Cancer. They still have bills to pay and every day expenses to get by.

This could not have happened at a worse time or to a better couple. So please, show the gratitude and kindness for this time of year to help. Every dollar counts. And if we can make this ordeal a little easier to see the light through, then why not?

It will be greatly appreciated xx

Shenelle Rodgers' involvement (page creator)

I’m involved because I’m a Mum.

Melissa is my best friend - she’s my sister from another mister. If my baby was going through this horror, she would be here in a heartbeat. But I don’t have the means - so I’m helping from afar ❤️
