It's raining vet bills.

2024 has been a really tough year for me already.

I have had several very expensive vet bills for my dogs and they haven't all been covered by insurance.

Craven, my youngest, a long haired weimaraner, died after a routine neuter, due to surgical error.

Krueger, my oldest who is a Dalmatian x Huntaway had two surgeries which removed 11+ lumps. He has Atopic Dermatitis which is mostly covered by insurance.

Myers, my English Pointer, had a surgery to remove several lumps, she then had allergy testing done because she also has Atopic Dermatitis and hasn't had good control of her allergies.

On Wednesday Myers, suddenly stopped eating in the middle of her dinner. After a few days she seemed to be back to normal but on Saturday night I noticed her face was swollen. Sunday morning it had gotten worse and we went to the vet. It seems on Wednesday she broken one of her large molars. Hopefully she just has a tooth root abscess from this.

Unfortunately her insurance doesn't cover dentals. Having dental xrays and tooth removal will help rule out other more serious causes.

2024 has been a hard year for most. My dogs are my life and I have had so many bad things happen this year so anything that you could give would be greatly appreciated.

It is expected Myers surgery and uncovered costs will be approximately $2000, and I also owe $500 on her previous vet visit from last week.
