6 months ago, the unimaginable happened and I urge you all to take a moment to reflect on how it would feel if this had happened to someone you love.

It was an ordinary day, like any other, when Hrushi suddenly suffered a tragic fall that changed his life forever. In an instant, what we all take for granted - mobility, independence, normalcy - was taken from him. He is now paralysed from the neck down and while miracles do happen, the prognosis is not looking good.

Such cruel and random events remind us just how fragile our health and wellbeing truly are.

This is an earnest appeal to anyone and everyone who has known Hrushi during the significant time he has spent in the auto industry. We are raising funds to help make his life a little easier. You may have only spoken to him on the phone or met him a few times, but anything you can spare would mean a lot.

It’s still very early days - Hrushi has only just returned home after spending time in the ICU. We’re not yet sure how the funds will best be used, but even if they provide just a small amount of relief for Hrushi, his wife, and children, your support will be money well directed.

That said, I’m thinking BIG and I believe we can all do better than that!
