Ivan the Red - Stolen Circus Equipment

$3,255 of $2,000 goal
Given by 77 generous donors in 21 days

Let's band together to help Vanya recover his stolen circus and burlesque equipment which is integral to his livelihood and his joy!

Auckland

Please extend a helping hand to one of our founding Auckland circus community members Vanya Essin. To top off an already difficult year, his late father's van was stolen last week with all of his performing equipment!

We've set the fundraising target of $2000 roughly based on the gear which was stolen which included the following:

Firestaff, Fire Sword, Palm Candles, Fans, Steel Saber and Kindjal, Handstand Canes,

Burlesque costumes, Dostoevsky books

The van itself has now been returned but any funds above the target raised could be used to replace the seats stolen from inside the van or repair damage.

Please give generously to this kind soul who brings so much love and energy to our community as Vanya, and inspiration to us on stage as Ivan the Red!

Circus Sphere Ltd's involvement (page creator)

Vanya helped to found a community which has provided inspiration and a creative outlet to hundreds of people. He is a much loved figure in the New Zealand Circus industry.

Use of funds

Replacing stolen equipment so that Vanya can once again train and perform. Any surplus will go to repairing damage to his van and replacing stolen seats and other parts.
