    Hi everyone,

    Ivan and I just want to say again a BIG THANK YOU for the kind words and donations that have been coming through the last couple of days. You really don't know how much this helps us in replacing these tools.

    Just a quick update, i'm able to pick up my car on Thursday from the insurers so hopefully Ivan and I will be able to have a look at some new tools to purchase. Unfortunately we've had news that Ivan may be out of work for another month because the two jobs his company were working on have been deferred so now we will be looking for casual building work until the drought is over. We're keeping positive about the whole thing and just thanking our lucky stars for awesome support form family, friends and strangers alike :)

  • Just saw my car for the first time

    Just went to see my car at the insurance place where it's being held. Looks like the holagans smashed my rear window, unlocked the car and smashed my ignition. Our GPS and all the tools were taken bar my partners steal cap boots (i guess that's one positive considering they're really expensive). *SIGH*. Thank you to those that have contributed to our cause so far. Every little bit helps immensely!!

    Hi all,

    So i've just got off the phone with the police and they have confirmed that all of Ivan's tools have been stolen :(. This is a big blow considering we were hoping that whoever stole the car just went for a joy ride and dumped it. Nevermind, on to plan B....

  • Touched down back in Auckland

    Hi all,

    I've just touched down back in Auckland and we've already had some generous donations from family and friends to our cause. Thank you so much those that have contributed to help get Ivan back to work. Hopefully it won't be too long and we'll be able to get his set of tools replaced :)

  • Car waiting on finger printing

    Hi all,

    So just got word from Manukau Police Station that the car is awaiting to be finger printed. Hopefully they catch the person who nicked our car and Ivan's tools. Ivan can't work until he has some tools so he's spending some time with my little brother and sister at home and figuring out what our next step will be.

    Hopefully our luck will turn around soon :)
