Izzy sets out to push her limit for equine welfare
Nationwide
Izzy is 20 year old from the UK who has decided to push herself to the limits to support small horse welfare. She's got 24 hours to see how many laps of a 4km track she can do. Her aim is to complete 60km in 24 hours. Izzy has never taken on an endurance challenge like this before and wants to push her limits. This is part of the Born to Run Adventure Racing 24hour challenge. Starting 10 am Saturday and finishing 10am Sunday.
Izzy came to New Zealand almost 6 months ago and fell in love with miniature horses. In this time has learned all about the importance of miniature horses to be out moving and being active to help prevent obesity and deadly conditions like laminitis. One of the most significant problem for miniature horses is lack of movement and Izzy is setting out to change that. If she can she hopes this can inspire to get out with their own horses. Horses are born to run and move and so are people.
Support Izzy as she tries to push her limit and complete 60km in 24 hours. All money raised goes to supporting Miniature horse welfare
