Jack has recently been moved to the Otara Spinal Unit and is now in a stable condition, ready to ease into physical therapies. Jacks ability to move his fingers is minimal, leaving only his right hand with slight movement in his fingers, making most everyday tasks especially tricky. He is expected to be in the unit for at least three months, relearning these everyday tasks and building the physical and mental strengths to do so. As of any additional treatments, Jack is still waiting on as much natural healing as possible.

Thankyou for everyone’s ongoing support - Jacks Family

Thank you to everyone who have taken the time and money to donate towards Jacks recovery. We are all very grateful. It has now been a month since Jacks accident and all 50 stitches are out and healing well. He’s progressing slowly and we are waiting to be transferred to the Otara Spinal Unit. Jack yet remains positive and continues to push his limits, and he’s still got his wacky sense of humor despite it all. With the help of everyone, we are able to keep moving forward with hope that we can soon afford treatments such as Nerve Repair Surgery for Jacks Hands and any other treatments that come into our reach. These unfortunately won’t be covered by ACC.
