James Kelso lost everything in his room after a fire - including his clothing! Let's help him rebuild.
Canterbury
At 11pm on August the 17th, an electronic fire started in James' room, completely gutting it. James was taken to hospital and treated for smoke inhalation. He was released in the wee hours of the next morning, much to the relief of all of his friends and family.
While he was fortunate and escaped unscathed, he has lost everything in the room - clothes and all!
I've set this page up to allow people to offer a little helping hand to James, and maybe get him set up with some fresh clothes! It's hard to look as good as he does, and the ladies (and guys!) of the world are missing out on some major eye candy if his wardrobe isn't on point. James deserves to enjoy his possessions, and to have them so cruelly stripped is just awful.
For those of you who don't know James, he's shown a lot of character so far in life. At age 14 he had an orange-sized tumor removed from his brain, an operation that left him with impaired vision and very little sense of smell. James then had another operation for another tumor at 17.
He grabbed life with both hands, meeting every challenge with a smile and an inappropriate comment. James has been heavily involved with Canteen, and was so for many years. He's had setbacks and speedbumps in his life, but always kept on doing his thing with that famous Kelso laugh.
James has faced a hell of a lot in his 26 years, but never allowed himself to get down about it. He's one of the funniest, most positive and genuine guys you could hope to meet, and I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to help him out. Going anywhere with James can be a right pain, as he stops every 5 bloody feet to catch up with someone keen to see what's new! James has a LOT of friends and loved ones, and this is because of the character the guy demonstrates. He deserves it!
All money goes towards James, and I'm sure he'll use it wisely (or blow it on sexy underwear)
I'm a friend of James' who wants to see him as happy as he makes others!
