Fellow Kiwi Jarrod is a huge step closer to making it onto West-End/Broadway and needs your help to get him there :-)
Auckland
Kiwi Jarrod, a born performer, singer, actor and dancer after rigorous audition processes against 1000's has been offered official guaranteed places at Three of the Top UK schools for his Masters in Musical Theater:
Royal Academy of Music (No.1 UK Music Conservatoire)
Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (No.1 UK Drama School)
Guildford School of Acting (Top Musical Theater Program in UK)
These schools audition 1000's internationally in America, Canada, Asia, as well as UK cities to find the best talent and Jarrod is hugely honored and humbled to be offered a place at each of these prestigious colleges.
It has been a very difficult decision for him to choose the school as he absolutely loved each place.
However, he has chosen the Royal Academy of Music for a few reasons, one of which is that it is situated in central London and has connections to some of West-End/Broadway's finest directors/performers/agencies and composers.
As part of the program, he will be learning from some of the best in singing, drama, accent-work, audition technique, tap, ballet, jazz and musical theater dance.
Very excitingly, he will also be given the opportunity to perform in a showcase in front of top casting directors/agents on the West-End stage, which, fingers crossed, with 110% dedication, is the perfect spring-board for him get onto the world stage.
It has been his dream to perform on the West-End/Broadway since a very young age and to have the backing of three of the top UK schools is hugely encouraging.
He has never felt this ready.
However, with the tuition fee being very high (roughly 40,000 NZD) and cost of living higher too, this is, unfortunately, putting a spanner into the works of him getting there.
A visa requirement of 60,000 NZD in the bank to cover tuition/living costs is a huge sum.
He is selling all he can, using all his savings as well as taking up as much work and singing gigs to make it happen but is in need of your help to turn his dreams into reality.
With huge love appreciation and hope, he is hoping you can help make a Kiwi's dream come true.
Of course, as a small thank you (but big in the heart) he would like to offer something in return.
