It has been 5 long months this Friday I have spent very single day since the accident by his side....EVERY single day! Progress has been amazing considering they said he irreparable brain damage!

With the right equipment and once our whare is complete this fulla will be ready for release into the wild, still can't roar like a Lion though and only slightly faster than a turtle but we are getting there!

Still at the Laura Fergusson Rehab in Hamilton East, visitors more than welcome cos he gets motivated then hahaha

  • Back in Rotorua......

      6 July 2019

Kia Ora Whanau ma e hoa ma hoki xoxo

It has been 11 long gruelling weeks , and gunna be a lot more before this fulla actually gets up and walks BUT he will get there.....

After months of ops and procedures they have decided to let his left lung be, it is no longer receiving oxygen or blood flow but will be monitored still.

He has movement in all limbs but very minimal in left arm , Can push himself to a stand using aids and assistance.

His vocal cords have not yet recovered fully either.

There is still a chance he may end up at the Acute Brain Injury Centre in Auckland, but he feels he will heal better closer to the tamariki and mokopuna xoxo

His aim is to be home by or able to attend his own 50th on Nov 2nd with everyone xoxo

He has also asked that I put out a mihi nui to all whom continue to support him in his recovery whether it be monetary, physical presence, love, light, blessings, prayers, messages and well wishes from around the globe he and I and all our loved ones are deeply grateful and appreciative. He mihi nui ki a koutou katoa xoxo
