Help us get our boisterous 7 year old Am Staff Jed back on his feet and back home. He has just been through a massive ordeal!

Canterbury

Hi all,

On 7th October 2019 our 7 year old Am Staff, Jed, wasn’t himself, he vomited a couple of times during the night then wasn’t at the kitchen jumping about for his food, instead he was lying on the couch barely able to move, which is very odd considering his happy go lucky and boisterous personality!

We rushed him to the vet immediately who believed it may be panchrieitis , unfortunately xrays and initial tests didn’t confirm this, around 2pm he went downhill needing emergency blood tests , iv drip and an emergency ultrasound. This showed a blockage in his intestine which required immediate surgery! So far we are looking at a $3500+ bill which although we pay weekly amounts to our local vet we will struggle to pay for these costs that he needs.

Alternatively, you can make direct donations to Marshall and Pringle Vet in Kaiapoi using reference Kempton.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated.

Use of funds

All funds will pay Jed’s vet bill, any extra will be donated to the CHCH Bull Breed Rescue.
