This page is created to support Jeff in his recovery, help support his family and ensure when Jeff is ready to come home the house is ready.
Rotorua, Bay Of Plenty
Jeff Anderson is a well-known and loved member of the biking community in Rotorua and NZ.
He is a loving husband to Janelle and doting father to myself (Shanan), Dylan and Miles, and we mustn't forget Sky!
On Sunday 13th March 2022 Jeff suffered a stroke, shortly followed by another stroke on Monday. He has lost his ability to speak and has very limited to no use of his right side. The road to recovery will be long and hard, but we sure know that Jeff will fight the hardest battle ever to do it.
This is currently a very unknown and scary time for all that know Jeff, we are all overwhelmed with the love and support that we have received.
Jeff has helped, contributed, danced and built his way into so many lives, his generosity has been felt by so many people and now we are asking for your help.
It is still very early days to know the extent of Jeff's recovery but we do know it will not be a full recovery (although I'm sure Jeff will do his best to prove the Doctors wrong at every milestone). Many aspects of his life will be different and we need to prepare as much as possible for this.
He needs all of our help to ensure we can get him back into that shed, the shed he has been dreaming of for years, the shed where he spends his days, fulfilling other peoples dreams and ensuring your wheels keep turning.
This page is being set up to ensure that the financial burden of such an injury is not a stress that we as a family and especially Jeff need to worry or stress about.
Jeff is my Dad.
All money raised will be used to aid Jeff in his recovery.
Jeff’s progress 27 March 2022
First of all, just a huge thank you to you generous lot, I can’t explain how much it means to us all!
Anyway Jeff is doing well, as expected some days are good and some days are bad, overall he has been making minor improvements. He is still struggling with speech though, but signs of his personality are there so his stubbornness wasn’t going to go away anytime!!
Thanks again, you guys are going to be what helps us all get through this, we appreciate you all and what you’ve done!
