We are fundraising to get Jemma to Wellington for the Shakespeare National Finals!

At the Bay of Plenty regional Sheila Winn Competition in March, Jemma was awarded the NSSP nomination (National Shakespeare Schools Production) to go straight to the Shakespeare finals down in Wellington in the September/October school holidays! A select few from finals are given the opportunity to perform at The Globe in London!! Unfortunately, the costs are looking to be higher than she and her family can afford, so we are fundraising to get this incredible rising star down to Wellington.

Jemma is one of my best friends whom I have seen grow incredibly as an actress over the past four years.

Use of funds

The money will be spent on transport to and from Wellington, the fees to enter the competition (which covers accommodation too) and a food budget for 9 days.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform.
