We visit here at least 4 times a week to buy medical supplies and also fill Jens Oxygen tanks. This allows her freedom to leave the house and to go to doctor consults etc. we have been coming here for 2 years now and we thank the INFRA team for there support!
Jen is officially on the waiting list for a lung transplant at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio. Our doctors here in Mexico City are talking with Cleveland Clinic as we prepare for our first visit there in late March 2016. It is being discussed that Jen go on a trial medicine also while we are there, aimed at stopping her lung condition from deteriorating further. It is not a cure and it has been recommended to us to continue with he transplant process.
We thank you for all the support and we thank Give A Little and Spark Foundation for this fantastic fundraising platform, it gives us some hope in our journey!
The team kindly donated a signed training shirt from there most recent UK tour. This has already been sold in a private sale and we thank the team for this kind donation.

Today's important Doctor consult bought some good news. 2 years after her stroke Jen Has been cleared by the doctor and her medicines have been reduced! Very good news for us today and now we have just 1 more doctor visit for 2015.
First day in December for us and Jen wanted to set up the tree today. This will be the first xmas celebration for us in 2 years

The poster to the right Jen has kept by her beside since I have known her and of course it was beside at the hospital through this ordeal.
The scan form Star Medca Hospital was taken at the end of the emergency surgery Jen required. The doctor later told us that He gave her 20% chance of survival.

Please continue to support Jens A1 Fund, as we continue to build momentum for our first consult & evaluation visit to the Cleveland Clinic. Our focus is on completing Jens enrollment forms and finding the necesary funds for this visit!
Its been a great start to our fundraising and we thank everyone! Our next milestone is $15,000 as we continue our uest to get Jen to Lung specialists in USA.
Further advice given to us, suggested we contact the Cleveland Clinic to seek out there expert medical opinion. After a second round of phone discussions with the Clinic, we received the official enrollment form for Jens first visit to Respiratory Institute, Cleveland Clinic. There will be a team of doctors and experts that specialise in Lung Conditions and the respiratory system. The period for the exams to begin is the first or second week of October. Jen will be hospitalised for up to 5 days and the cost given to us is at approximately $50, 000usd.

Today my research continues into the best hospital options for Jen in the USA. Dr Klenda (my host father during my student exchange trip to Kansas) has referred us to his colleague at the University of Colorado in Denver. SO my search starts there today,

The first of Jens health problems being. Jen is admitted to hospital in September, severe respiratory problems. In October Jen suffers a stroke and is rushed for emergency surgery, and given only a 20% chance to survive by doctors.

Today our fears have been confirmed. After 2 months of extensive testing Jen has been confirmed as a candidate for a Full Lung Transplant. The doctors have advised us this is the best option for Jen at this stage!
