Jerry the German Shepherd attacked by 3 unrestrained Dogs,

I was walking our German Shepherd today, his usual work when 3 unrestrained Pit Bulls came out of a unfenced property and attacked him, Jerry was on a leash and under control, these dogs were not. Jerry received a bite wound in which he had to be sedated, shaved, cleaned and the wound drained. The owner and the dogs have disappeared, the dog control officer went several times. Jerry may not be a trained threapy dog but he helps me live with my serve anxiety, we walk up to 1 1/2 hours daily. Tho now I don't no if I can again after this. I do not hate pit bulls, just sadly the owner of these dog is not responsible and he is to blame. THANK YOU TO ALL THE LOVELY PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONATED< JERRY SAY"S THANK YOU FOR ALL THE LOVELY MESSAGES AS WELL XX
