Joel’s medical misadventures - big costs all round

    Apologies for the delay in the update everyone, the past few weeks have had even further visits to ED for Joel - this time with new symptoms which (thankfully?) turned out to be a kidney stone. We have never been so happy to be told 'bad news'. With the added complication of passing the stone things have been set back a little bit in terms of recovery and Joel has had to reduce his hours at work - of course this has financial implications so we really appreciate everyone's generosity. Thanks again, Joel, Jess and the kids.

    Thank you everyone, we are blown away by your generosity. Hoping to post positive updates more frequently soon. It's been a long, slow week but knowing there are such kind people have helped push through some tough moments
