Joe's Journey to Paris 2023

Hey Everyone

Just wanted to post an update on here from Paris. I ran the 100m heats and came 3rd with a new PB 12.08 which now makes me Oceania Record Holder for 100m. I followed that up with a 12.10 in the final to run my 2 fastest ever times. I’m obviously over the moon with how the running went and have been living it up as an athlete here in Paris.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed towards me getting here. Even just reading the page or giving it a follow does as much good as any money can. So many of you were incredibly generous and I will endeavour to thank as many of you as I can in person .

The plan now is to hunt down that elusive Paralympic 2024 slot over the next year and the money left over will help me get to World Champs in Kobe and Australian Nationals .

Thank you all so much again , you helped me achieve something that little Joe only dreamt of . The journey has only just begun. Sub 12 here we come .
