Help for John

  • Update on John's machine ..

      30 April 2015

Some may be wondering how the machine is going ... long story short- we were sent two machines, one after the other - both we needed to send back due to flecks of dust inside machine leaving dots on the viewer, slightly concerned as for such a huge outlay we need it to last for years, so are now waiting on a similar machine at a similar cost called 'the owl' which in a nutshell lets us see the vein in 3d on a screen, unfortunately it will be October when it is available, so we will have to wait till then. this is the link to the machine we are waiting on - http://evenamed.com/products/owl2

Thank you all again for the donations to this cause - we are so so grateful to you all xo

WOW! After a huge anonymous donation last night the $7000 mark has been reached for John!! Blown away!! A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who gave - whether it was a little or a lot, it all helped get to the original goal ... Now I have just found out that it's actually $7,500 for the machine so any help getting the extra $500 would be appreciated! We have an extra $170 so far coming in from the sewing machine but the auction is still running! Let's see how high it goes! :-) http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=800529851

      25 October 2014

This from Caroline and Andy: Our daughter Eden decided to sell her child sized chaise and ladies chair, the auction winner - Marlene Whitehead, very kindly wanted to let her keep it, and donate the winning bid. Thank you so much Marlene ! I would also like to thank all of the generous people that have so selflessly given here, we are so grateful for your kind and understanding hearts. (and yes, to the people who know Dj, Cece and Dom, DJ grew up with our children, going on camps and trips over the years together, he was a beautiful, gorgeous, clever and cheeky boy, always with a smile, we speak of him often, and he is missed.) Thank you - to all of you - for taking the time to read our story and for supporting us in raising funds to buy the accuvein, we believe it will make a huge difference when it comes to treatment. One again - THANK YOU !!! x Be blessed x
