Please support Gina Urlich as she fights stage 4 cancer.

Hawke's Bay

Gina Urlich is a Mum of four and a leading Clinical Nutritionist. Gina is a beautiful person who has always been generous with sharing her knowledge and advice with her online community (and beyond). She is the type of person who will drop anything to be there for her loved ones. Gina is also the Founder of Norish, which is dedicated to changing the game in infant nutrition. This is her passion and the culmination of her life’s work. Everything Gina does is in service of her community and beyond. To know her is to love her.

She has helped thousands of people across the world, and now it’s our turn to give back. Gina is in the fight of her life against stage 4 Signet Cell Carcinoma. This type of cancer is aggressive and rare.

We want to make sure that Gina and the family have the financial support they need as they go through surgeries and treatment. There is a very long, heartbreaking and arduous road ahead.

Gina is strong, and we want her to feel that extra layer of community support beneath her. Together we can make a difference for this beautiful family.

Use of funds

The funds will be used for the following:

- Immunotherapy (Pembrolizumab & Trastuzumab) (added in July 2024)

- Travel expenses for treatments and surgeries.

- Helping to pay bills as Gina or her husband Dylan aren't able to work during Gina’s treatment and surgeries. There is a high possibility that treatment will need to be offshore.

- Childcare for the children (family and friends can do a lot, but additional help may be needed)

- General support for the family where needed.

Update on Gina's Cancer Journey   10 July 2024

Dear Friends and Family,

We want to update you on Gina's challenging journey as we face the future together. She has endured intense medical procedures, including chemotherapy and a major surgery to remove tumors in her stomach. The biopsy results after the surgery have been positive, offering a glimmer of hope, but the risk of cancer returning remains.

The next step is immunotherapy (Pembrolizumab & Trastuzumab), a crucial treatment not covered by her insurance, with a daunting cost of $150,000. Gina, a devoted mother, wife, daughter, and friend, is bravely fighting for her life. To fund this treatment, she and her family are selling their home and seeking community support.

Your love and support are invaluable during this difficult time. Let's unite to ease the financial burden on Gina and her family. Your generosity can make a difference in Gina's journey towards hope and healing.

Thank you for your unwavering kindness and support.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Gina and Family x
