Today we lost our beautiful friend Jonny.

A year ago he was diagnosed with cancer. So strong and determined, we all thought he'd beaten it when he was back painting 3 days after removal of the tumour. Jonny told us the colours looked different, they had a new type of clarity and intensity and he worked all hours of the day trying to capture and fix them on the canvas.

Jonny's passion for painting and music couldn't compete with his love for his wife Michele and kids, Jack and Evelyn, and they are so grateful for all the aroha they have received from so many.

We want to show our support for Michele and the kids, so instead of flowers or gifts we've set up this give a little page to help towards the kids' future education. Jack and Evelyn, are like Jonny and Michele, passionate, creative and so talented, and they loved their dad to bits.

We will all miss you so much Jonny xxxx

We are so grateful for the support shown for our family and for the future education of Jack and Evelyn. We all loved Jonny and the Aroha shown to us is a reflection of what an amazing person he was. x
